When to go
The best time to surf Taiwan is during the winter months (October to April) which will offer the most consistent conditions. However, the typhoon season is when you can score bigger waves (May to September).

Getting there
Fly into Taipei (TPE) and head to the east coast by rental car or camper van. The east coast is rugged and raw. Having your own wheels makes it much easier to explore different spots and chase conditions.

Jinzun
One of Taiwan’s most well-known surf spots, Jinzun offers consistent waves and a laid-back surf village vibe. The beach hosts the annual Taiwan Open of Surfing, attracting international talent.
